Keeping the doors open, paying the staff, maintaining the buildings and grounds, supporting programs for youth, children and adults, meeting needs within and beyond the church and working on issues of justice, peace, and humanitarianism—all these elements enable us to be a church and they are supported by your pledges and offerings to the church.  In addition to these needs, the church supports regional and national United Church of Christ (UCC) endeavors through Our Church’s Wider Mission (OCWM).

Our Church is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) tax-exempt organization, meaning gifts to our Church are tax deductible. If you attend a weekend service, your pledges and offerings can also be dropped in the baskets near the doors.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Matthew 6:21

Second Mile Gifts

"And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go also the second mile. Give to anyone who begs from you, and do not refuse anyone who wants to borrow from you." (Matthew 5:41-42)

In addition to supporting Church of the Savior and its many ministries, our congregation donates to various “2nd Mile” causes throughout the year. We go the 2nd Mile and support many of the progressive causes that reflect our mission. Last year our congregation donated over $35,000 to our Second Mile Ministries.
